NAME OF THE CAREER : 134 GDOC – Ground Duty Officers Course ( Permanent Commission ) / 27 SSC – Short Service Commission Course
BRANCH : METEOROLOGICAL BRANCH
AGE : Age limit between 20 – 25 years age as on 01 st July , 2013 OR Born between 02 July 1988 to 01 July 1993.
PAY AND ALLOWANCES : Pay band Rs.15,600 – 39100 /- Approximately Monthly Rs.50330/- per month .
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : PG – Post Graduation Degree in any Science stream with 50% of Marks .
PHYSICAL STANDARDS :
HEIGHT AND WEIGHT : Minimum height : Men – 157.5 with correlated weight .
SELECTION PROCEDURE : Short listed candidates called for testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards ( AFSBs ) at Dehradun, Mysore , Gandhinagar or Varanasi. Testing is in two stages .
Stage – I : Intelligence Test , Screening Test
Stage – II : Psychological test , Group test and Interview , Medical Examination will be conducted at AFCME , New Delhi or IAM Bengaluru based on the recommendations at AFSB. Full details can read from the www.careerairforce.nic.in website .
